Blogger Ramblings - Channel Update

As I finished the last episode of Blu of course my brain was creating other avenues to explore. Silly brain.
It also brought up games that I own that I haven't fully explored or played that I could play instead of replaying The Witcher 3. I have played The Witcher 3 through a few times and mostly explored as many side quests as possible. That is where I have the most fun is doing side quests and not the main quest. Finishing the main quest is quiting the game and I enjoy playing too much to want to quit.
Ok, so I did my own research on Word Press. I know I should have done that first rather than taking for granted something I read in a blog and they do have a free version and a version that isn't too expensive too. So, I may look into doing that but first I need to invest in a hard drive (ssd) so that my poor old pute isn't bleeding through the seams. My problem is I look at how old my machine is (2009 model) and the fact that it won't play the new games. Ray tracing? Is that some new fangled device for artists? What? Eight gigs of memory isn't enough to run the program? Gee! How do you expect an old machine to keep up! It has been very good to me so I can't complain. It is the second Hewlitt Packard I have owned and both have served me very well. The only reason my other HP isn't used is because Microsoft stated that it isn't updatable because it doesn't have enough HD space or enough memory. It's a lap top so no, I didn't update the HD and you can't add more ram to it. Sigh. It had Windows XP but....
I started to play Witcher 3 but.... When it was released I could play it on high settings without any issues but since then the graphics have been updated as well as content added and now even on low settings it is unplayable. Sigh. So until I can manage to update my rig I won't be playing the Witcher 3. Back to the drawing board for the next game installment. Grrr!
Now if I could just win the lotto..... Oh, what do you mean you have to buy tickets? LOL Seems like a waste of money. I remember when the lotto was new in our state. It was the curiousity of local news media to interview winners for their tips on how to win. One man estimated he spent $10,000 on lotto tickets before he won. Way too much investment on something that is less reliable than the stock market.
It is easy to tell there are Black Friday sales going on because the internet is bogged down. Some of the sales are amazing and hard to resist. **must resist*** must resist*** LOL
Ah, but my pocket book is arguing with my brain. It says, 'No! Do you want to eat?' My brain says but when will we see a deal like that again?
My pocket book has won this round.
Ok, so I am hoping to get started collecting clips to launch Lou's struggles in spite of the Holidays.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I always think of this time of year as an opportunity to be with family because love them or hate them they are the ones that generally stand beside you  when everyone else is throwing stones. Enjoy your holiday! Hug your family and your pets if you have them and make happy memories.
