Fighting With Blogger

I'm trying to figure Blogger out so I searched for ways to improve it but... So far I haven't found anything that shows or tells how to make posts show on the page without clicking on the bland item Blogger puts on the page. If it has a video then text will show but it doesn't seem to work if there is a picture. However the picture does look better than Blogger's rendition. Sigh. Live, learn and struggle to go on. Such is life.😕
